Information Day on Erasmus+ opportunities within education, youth and sports for Uman City Council and NGOs of Cherkasy region (06.02.2025, Uman)

On 6 February 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team held an Erasmus+ Info Day on Education, Youth, and Sport for the Uman City Council and NGOs of the Cherkasy region. The event was attended by 55 representatives from the Uman City Council and regional non-governmental organisations interested in cooperation opportunities to develop the potential of young people in the spheres of education, youth, and sport.

During the event, Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Manager of NEO in Ukraine, delivered a presentation on the Erasmus+ Programme opportunities for active youth and youth organisations. The speaker presented the EU’s Erasmus+ Programme, its key sectors, strands, and priorities, paying particular attention to the new calls for proposals regarding Capacity Building in education, youth, and sport.

The presentation provided clear recommendations on registering organisational profiles on the Programme’s key portals, searching for calls, the specifics of completing application forms, partnership requirements, the preparation of the supplementary document package, and expected results. Furthermore, the speaker highlighted the existing cooperation experience between Ukrainian and European partners to encourage the development of new consortia, the exchange of best practices, and further synergy.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants engaged with the speakers, shared their success stories and experiences, and received answers to their questions.
